Chef Brandon S. LaVielle, CEC, AAC, Honored with Induction into the American Academy of Chefs at the American Culinary Federation National Convention in New Orleans, LA
Chef Brandon S. LaVielle, CEC, AAC, was received a distinguished honor as he was inducted into the esteemed American Academy of Chefs (AAC). The induction ceremony took place at the New Orleans Ernest N. Morial Convention Center during the American Culinary Federation National Convention. Chef LaVielle joined a group of 14 other accomplished chefs from across the nation, as they were recognized for their outstanding contributions to the culinary world.
Demanding criteria must be met in order to be elected to the AAC. The American Academy of Chefs is the prestigious honor society within the American Culinary Federation; celebrating exceptional culinary professionals who have consistently displayed unparalleled skill, leadership, and unwavering dedication to their craft. Chef LaVielle's induction is a testament to his exceptional career and commitment to education, professionalism, mentorship, and culinary excellence.
In the same momentous event, Chef Emeril Lagasse, an iconic figure in the culinary industry, was celebrated for his impact on the culinary world. Recognized as a "Celebrated Chef," Chef Lagasse was inducted into the Culinary Hall of Fame for his outstanding achievements and trailblazing contributions to the culinary arts, including the the work that has been done through the Emeril Lagasse Foundation, which provides grants benefiting children's charities in New Orleans, Las Vegas, and around the Gulf Coast. Known for his bold and dynamic cooking style, Chef Lagasse has inspired countless chefs and food enthusiasts around the globe, including Chef LaVielle. The two chefs had the opportunity to meet and engage in conversation during the reception preceding the awards dinner (see photo above).
