Thank you to everyone and your families for celebrating with the Lavish Roots Hospitality Team at our End of the Summer Party. It was such a blast! Special appreciation goes out to Meagan McKinnon, the Event Chair, who absolutely rocked it along with everyone who volunteered to help with stations, food, set up, take down, and more. And thank you our vendors and to Fat Saturn for the awesome set and musical energy!

Elmahdi Ibrahim joined us as a referral from his close friend, Bahaeldin Kunna. Mahdi has achieved culinary success cooking at 5 star hotels across the world. Mahdi's passion for elevating the cuisines of all cultures lends an amazing talent to our Dinner Production crew at RAD Commissary. He and Chef Ernest's team are constantly learning and perfecting together. What a pleasure to have Elmahdi on our team as our newest Junior Sous.

While our Sr. Sous Chef is on leave, Chef Joey Rogers has stepped up big time out at SoDo to fill his shoes while he's been gone! Our Reality Labs Meta Chefs have noticed and wanted to make sure that we all knew what a rockstar Joey has been!

Baha has been doing a tremendous job leading his PM Harvest Crew. On a daily basis this team executes somewhere in the realm of 60-80% of the bulk prep for Harvest including sauces, dressings, cold cuts, and tasting menu items. Baha leads them, collaborates with DJ as well as Ernest and his team. He has definitely been leading from the front. — Chef Jeff Zanatta

From Tanesha Wallace: I just wanted to take a moment to shout out my awesome packaging team at RAD! I appreciate all of your hard work and dedication to your jobs! No matter what curve ball is thrown your way, you all adapt to it and make it happen. All while keeping a positive attitude and treating those around you with respect. From staples to tape, soaking wet kale boxes, red sauce splashes, sooooo much math and tiny cute veggies, we've seen it all! So Riz, Sylvia, Linda, and the new guy in town Nguyen, you guys are the best! Let's go team Gremlins!!!!!!
