Happy Holidays Postcard & An End of the Year Reflection from the Lavish Roots Partners
End of the Year Reflection from Our Lavish Roots Partners
As we approach the end of the year, we take a moment to reflect on the journey we've shared and the incredible achievements we've made together. There is much to be thankful for, especially in how our departments have come together in remarkable collaboration. Every day, we witness the seamless teamwork that begins with our menu meetings and flows through purchasing, receiving, preparation, and production, ultimately leading to the exceptional experience we provide for our guests. This tireless dedication to excellence never ceases to amaze us.
Let us also give credit to the often-overlooked heroes behind the scenes. From our diligent packaging teams to the delivery drivers ensuring every item arrives on time, and our outstanding TMR team, your hard work and unique talents are integral to our success. This year, we have made significant strides; we expanded our benefit offerings and invested in new systems and training opportunities, all while deepening our understanding of one another. Together, we have grown as a team.
As we look forward to 2025, we challenge ourselves to work smart and embrace a meticulous attention to detail. Let's continuously ask critical questions such as “why did that work?” and “why didn’t that work?” This reflective mindset will allow us to enhance our processes and achieve even greater heights.
We hope this holiday season brings you joy as you spend time with those who matter most to you.
Cheers to a tremendous year that has gone by; let’s do it all over again in 2025!
With Love,
Ann, Carly, Brandon, and Evan
RAD Pastry Collaborates with Sawhorse Revolution: A Message from Chef Aimee
For the past 7 years, the RAD pastry team has been involved with making gingerbread for a great, local organization - Sawhorse Revolution. Each year they host a fundraiser called The Gingerbread Barn Raiser. Donors attend the event to compete against each other for the most over the top gingerbread houses. This event helps them raise funds for programs that provide training in construction, design and project management for high school students. During the busiest year of the project, the team made over 800 pounds of dough! The gingerbread is structural - not edible and can withstand being cut with saws and other tools of the construction trade. Thank you team, for stepping up and making time to help this organization - this year they raised over $100,000!
All About Our New Pay Schedule for 2025
Hi Team!
Reminder of our new payroll schedule effective January 2025! Starting January 1st, 2025, we will transition to a semi-monthly payroll schedule. Here's how it will work:
Pay Period 1: The 1st to the 15th of each month will be paid on the 22nd of the same month.
Pay Period 2: The 16th of the 30th or 31st of each month will be paid on the 7th of the following month.
Important Notes:
You will not have to wait until the 22nd of January to get paid!
We will still have our bi-weekly payroll for the dates 12/15/24-12/28/24 that will be paid on 1/3/2025.
A partial payroll for the dates 12/29/24-12/31/24 will be paid on 1/7/2025.
If the 7th or the 22nd fall on a weekend, please expect to be paid the following business day (Monday). However, we will do our best to process payroll early so payments can be made the prior Friday.
Review Your Timecard Each Week
Finally, this is a great time to remember the importance of reviewing and approving your timecard each week. This helps ensure the accuracy and a smooth process for payroll. To view and approve your timecard, please log into Paycom, under Time Management, Web Time Sheet. View your hours for each day. To approve, scroll to the bottom and click approve by date.
