5 Year Anniversary Reflection & A Dental Story from Chef B
As this year comes to a close, we reflect on everything you and your team have accomplished. It’s possible that you work side-by-side with someone who has been with Lavish Roots for 5+ years! So, for this week’s newsletter we’d like to recognize our Five Year Anniversary team members with a special reflection from the Lavish Roots Partners.
We wanted to take a moment to express our deepest gratitude for each and every one of you who joined us to celebrate a truly special milestone — five incredible years together. On November 2, 2024, we gathered to reflect on the journey we've all been part of and to honor the commitment, passion, and hard work you’ve given to our company. As owners, we couldn’t be prouder of the team we’ve built — not just for what we’ve achieved, but for the camaraderie and spirit that defines us. It's hard to believe how far we've come, and it’s all thanks to your dedication, enthusiasm, and the unique contributions each of you brings to the table. Whether it's behind the scenes or front and center, every role is integral, and your efforts do not go unnoticed. The dinner and celebration were just a small token of our appreciation for everything you've done. We hope you enjoyed the evening as much as we did, filled with laughter, memories, and a few good times to carry us through the next chapters. We’re excited for what’s ahead and know that with such a talented and dedicated group, there are even greater things on the horizon. Once again, thank you for being such an essential part of our company’s success. We are incredibly fortunate to work alongside you. Here’s to many more years of shared growth, success, and celebration!

A Message from Chef B About Dental Benefits
A Journey to Better Oral Health: Start Yours Today!
I hope everyone enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving surrounded by loved ones. As we wrap up Open Enrollment, I want to encourage you to USE THE BENEFITS starting January 1st. Taking care of yourself—whether it’s physical, mental, or oral health—is one of the best ways to make the most of your coverage.
Let me share a personal story about my journey with oral health.
Back in 2011, I had a filling done by my longtime dentist, and it didn’t go well. During the procedure, the dentist hit a nerve, causing excruciating pain. After that experience, I avoided the dentist for years. By the time 2019 rolled around, I was married with two kids and embarrassed about my teeth. I had bad breath, visible fillings, and cavities, but fear held me back.
It turns out I wasn’t alone—1/3 of the country has a fear of dental treatment.
With encouragement from my wife, Stacy, and a glowing recommendation from my parents about their new dental office, I reluctantly booked an appointment. From my very first visit, the team made me feel at ease. The office was modern and calming, and their friendly approach immediately won me over.
The results of that visit? A game plan to address years of neglect.
A deep clean at a periodontist’s office. Removal of all four wisdom teeth, two of which were decayed and the others with irreparable cavities. Multiple fillings to address long-standing decay.
Since 2019, I’ve had 25 dental appointments:
17 fillings
11 deep cleanings
1 crown
All 4 wisdom teeth removed
And now, I’ve started straightening my teeth with aligners! And I have my final appointment of the year next week!
The journey hasn’t always been easy, but it’s been worth it. I feel more confident, I’m setting a good example for my kids, and I know I’m taking better care of my overall health.
Oral health is closely linked to general health—issues in your mouth can affect your heart and other vital systems. By staying on top of dental care, you’re not just protecting your smile; you’re protecting your well-being.
So, if you’re feeling nervous about getting started, take it from me: the hardest part is making the first appointment. The benefits to your health and confidence are priceless. Use your benefits and take that first step—you won’t regret it!
Here’s to healthier smiles and happier lives in 2025!
